Are the paints safe to use on skin?
Our paints are professional quality and designed to be used on the skin. However, we recommend doing a patch test if you are concerned with skin reaction. A patch test will be done with dabbing paint on your wrist, waiting 10-15 minutes, cleaning off the paint to check for reaction.
what are your policies for outdoor summer events/parties?
For the health and safety of our painters, we ask to be placed in an adequately shady and covered area. Additionally, please have an alternate indoor climatized location as a back up in the case of extreme heat warnings.
Do you ever refuse to paint someone?
Yes. At the artists discretion, we may refuse to paint a guest:
- Anyone suffering from a viral illness, runny nose or open sores cannot be painted. In the case of cuts or sores on the face, we are happy to offer a design on the arm instead!
- Our artists will not paint any design we consider offensive such as weapons or depictions of violence.
- We cannot paint children under 3.
